The significant influencing factors of high-temperature purification of graphite include:

1、 Impurity content of graphite raw materials. The higher the impurities in the raw materials, the higher the quality content of the obtained products. The purity requirement for raw materials purified by high-temperature method is generally above 99%.

2、 The quality of graphite crucibles. The ash content of graphite is higher than that of graphite crucible, which is conducive to the gasification and escape of ash in graphite. Otherwise, the ash escaping from graphite crucible material will diffuse through the crucible to the lower concentration of graphite material to be purified, resulting in poor purification effect of graphite;

3、 Heating curve of graphitization process. By using high current heating, the graphitization temperature quickly increases, which is beneficial for the gasification and escape of ash in dispersed graphite. 4、 The particle size of the raw material. Generally speaking, the smaller the particle size, the better the purification effect.

The research and production of pure graphite products have become a hot topic and focus of attention for people. The current methods for purifying graphite have their own advantages and disadvantages. When choosing a purification method, factors such as the properties of raw materials, process characteristics, equipment investment, production energy consumption, and environmental governance should be comprehensively considered to obtain low-cost, high-performance high-purity graphite products.
